“Ifro couldn’t be happier partnering with entertainment powerhouses such as Endemol to give American viewers the pleasure of playing Deal or No Deal Live at home on their TVs or tablets. The combination of the popularity of the Deal or No Deal brand and the power of Ifro’s platform will help us us usher in a new era of interactive television entertainment,” said Robert Melendres, founder and CEO of Ifro.

This December, a new episode of Deal or No Deal will begin on CNBC in the U.S. after a 10-year hiatus. Starring original American host Howie Mandel, the new series has an exciting new twist with 30 hour-long episodes featuring high energy and risk rewards that captivated the audience. The U.S. version of Deal or No Deal is produced by Tury Original, a subsidiary of Endemol Shine North America.

In the U.S. version, the contestants play and receive a top prize of $1 million. With 26 sealed briefcases full of cash ranging from pennies to $1 million, and a mysterious entity known only as The Banker, the contestants face a game of odds and chance and whether to receive a cash offer from The Banker in exchange for what might be in the briefcase of their choice.

Worldwide, Deal or No Deal is commissioned in 83 regions worldwide, with 324 productions operating worldwide.
