A5 Labs has selected the fraud prevention and cybersecurity solutions provider, GeoComply, to support the WPT Global online poker site.
The website launched in May 2022 and has grown to accommodate more than 15,000 daily active users across 50 countries.
Geocompany will use its anti-fraud and detection solutions portfolio to identify players’ frauds.

“As our client, WPT Global, embarked on a new journey, we were determined to invest in the tools we needed to chase down increasingly sophisticated criminals.
“Investing in GeoCompany’s technology will take us one step ahead, no matter where cheating is based.”
GeoComply will also offer a variety of compliance-grade geolocation tools to help players play only in regulated markets when they play.
This will help prevent access to sanctioned areas and protect customer data in over 85 countries.

The announcement is set for the WPT500 Mexico City Global Online Tournament. The competition has a $500,000 GTD for major events.
GeoCompany’s technology will ensure that the player base maintains high integrity by blocking bots and fraudulent participants.
